    Are people really obsessed with stadium shows?  Or is it just the only option for fans of some artists who are trying to maximize revenue?

    Did you read it? 
    Just asking cause it talks about the psychology of the group synchronization... could be in arena too; but  research was stadiums.

    I did.  I’m just responding to what I read which was about stadiums.  I will happily see Pearl Jam wherever but I’m definitely not obsessed with seeing them in a stadium.
