The Braves have to be the most disappointing team this season, right?
This question really isn’t possibly to answer until the Mets collapse is complete.
Embarrassing. I’m over this season. Can’t watch anymore
Mets can go 50/50 the rest of the way and make a wild card Nick.
Team is done. But I appreciate the optimism
ahh the "i'm only a fan when things are going well".  my favorite fan types.  Lots of people in Philly who were 'done' with the Eagles and Phillies when things were going poorly who now proudly and unironically saying they've been fans for 40+ years.
    "Fairweather" fans.

They're only a half game ahead of the Redlegs. If they go .500, Reds will pass them.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Did you see Ohtani hit into that triple play?
he sucks. his “all time great season” last year = Bonds’ 11th best.
Could you maybe at least enjoy seeing a good player play the game you crusty ol' sumumumbich!?!
not is he’s wearing d*dger blue!

    freddie and mookie suck, too.

I truly have been a Giants fan for 40+ years…..but I’m done with them THIS year. currently THE WORST team in baseball and just now slipped to fourth place. don’t know if bob melvin is to blame but buster needs to eat the contract he just extended and find a new voice.

Stupid post. Who said I’m not a fan. I said the TEAM is done. Did I say I was done. I can’t complain about my team? Is there no complaining in the Phillies thread? Jeez. When I watch this team I’m seeing a team that has a bigger problem than just scoring runs / giving up runs. I get the sense that they won’t compete this year, hence team is done. That’s my opinion. It’s hard to watch a team find different ways to lose every night. So yea, can’t watch anymore. If I don’t watch every game am I not a fan? Crazy

the fact that I have to explain this to other sports fans is insane.

April/ May has been carrying them since June. It’s catching up and every other team is playing better. There’s losing, then there’s what the Mets are doing. The two are not the same. I understand if people only looking at final scores don’t see that.

"Embarrassing. I’m over this season. Can’t watch anymore".  that is exactly what you said.  now i imagine when they play the Phillies in 10 days you will be tuning in.  tell i'm wrong.

and sorry it's not about you per se, its the nauseating effect of fan interactions and social media that after every bad loss fans say those kinds of things.  it's tiring.  i'm not talking about being frustrated after a loss or two. im talking about those fans who will stop watching and not care when a team is struggling. "i'm done" "ill never watch again until xyz is still in charge or on the team".  And ive found typically those are the fans who when the team gets great again are the 1st ones to stand up and pound their chest "ive been a fan for 40 years I've waited for this".  No, those people jumped back on when the team started winning again.  Lots of Phillies and Eagles fans have been that way.  i've always said its easy to be a fan of a winning team, a bit harder to be a fan of a struggling team or a bad team. Those fans who stay with a team when things aren't great are the ones I respect the most.  if you disagree ok.

and I stand by my prediction that the mets, not the reds, will get that last wildcard. if I’m wrong, yes, that would be an EPIC failure.
