Mother Love Bone ‘Shine’ EP and ‘Apple’ Reissues
In honor of the enduring impact of Mother Love Bone’s music, individual reissues of Shine EP and the seminal full-length debut Apple are available for preorder today and tomorrow with a September 26 release date! A limited-edition, newly remastered Japan-exclusive Mini-LP/SHM-CD that includes both records will also be available on October 10.

Pre-order for Apple in red alert vinyl begins exclusively for Ten Club members today. Starting tomorrow, Apple will be available for preorder in habanero and standard black vinyl, as well as the CD version with bonus tracks: “Gentle Groove” and “Mr. Danny Boy”.

Random questions:
What label are these being reissued under: Polydor, Monkeywrench, Stardog?
Are both Shine and Apple remastered?

Demetrios, what do you know about this relatively new "eco-vinyl" that 1-2-3-4 Go! Records is selling?
I know nothing about it, but found this general answer online:
"Eco vinyl is basically vinyl trimmings and leftover nuggets of other pressings. While normally chucked into the garbage, these leftovers find new life as murky pressings of new records."
The article says that the colors of the eco-vinyl can be "murky" because they use left over pellets of various colors, but the 1-2-3-4 Go! Records pictured look fine.
But, I'm more much more concerned if there is any discernible difference in sound quality.
It doesn't appear by 10c's description of their releases that they use eco-vinyl, as the ones you linked to do.
Any ideas on the subject? Thank!

I'm not seeing the CD versions that were said to be available today 8/11. Not the combo pack, the individual CDs pictured above with the bonus tracks.
Will they be available to order later today?
I see the additional colors of vinyl, but not the additional CDs.
Thanks.0 -

I don't know how tough these will be to find but I think I'll hold my horses for a day or two.
Eventually I would hope Amazon, Target, Walmart etc. will have these CDs but who knows - maybe Mother Love Bone isn't that important to the general public.0 -
If and when you were a kid and played with Play-Doh and just mashed up all the stuff together and you got a greyish/brown/dark thing? That's what eco-vinyl will look like.
It's all the trimmings and leftover vinyl material (PVC) from other releases just reheated and reused as "pucks" to press records. Doesn't affect the sound quality of the records themselves b/c that's all contingent on the pressing plates and not the wax.
This is a pretty concise video on what eco-vinyl also referred to as eco-mix is made.https://youtu.be/JwTqfPLXk8Q?si=qGNLJf0liWyYcWHN
