I was listening them since I was age 9 or 10CAN'T KEEP CRAZY MARY IN MY TREE NO WAY NOT FOR YOU. ALL THOSE YESTERDAY JEREMY is ALONE, SAD with RATS & BUGS it's HARD TO IMAGINE a JEREMY a BETTER MAN.
LIFE WASTED, BLOOD on the PORCH, LAST KISS is a WISHLIST DEEP DOWN NOTHING AS IT SEEMS WHY GO COME BACK ALIVE SPIN THE BLACK CIRCLE and SMILE.0 -
As a 12 year old... I saw a lot of ACDC jean jackets. They were usually on roughians and I had never really heard them. I thought that band was maybe Satanic and for the 'head' crowd.
My buddy convinced me to purchase Back in Black without hearing it. I got home, put on headphones, and listened to that record- both sides. It was a musical experience. Kiss was instantly second class.
Highway to Hell was purchased right after that and wow... I cursed the time I missed listening to crappy music when this stuff was out there.
Out of respect... I always give ACDC credit... but I was never one of those cheering like mad on the dance floor at university when 'You Shook Me All Night Long' began playing. ACDC became lost on me at some point in my life. They do not do much for me except for 'secondary' songs like Love Hungry Man and the like."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

Why would anyone pay to rent music because that's essentially what you're doing when you buy from iTunes.0 -

Did they fix it to where you can't crack the music anymore? Used to all you had to do was burn it to a CD, then when you rip it back onto the computer it was no longer DRM protected. Assuming they've fixed that, I'm sure somebody has come up with another way to crack it. The hackers are always one step ahead of the companies."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0

That's awesome... Hopefully that means they'll come back to North America at some point. It's been a long while since I've seen AC/DC. The last show they played during a thunderstorm in Edmonton, it pissed rain the entire time, but the band was into it, the crowed was into it, and there were lightning bolts coming down (not on the stadium but you know around the stadium) while they played Thunderstruck. Top 5 show for sure

^^^Wow! Saw them twice way back when. My first concert! Also saw them when they dropped a bunch of Angus 'money' on the crowd. I wish I kept that bill. Great band.0

AC/DC, some of the most down to earth stars l've ever met. Back in 84" l believe it was the Flick Of Th Switch World Tour. Hampton VA 3am in the morning two tour buses pull up at a light in front Denny's where l was waiting tables. They park in our parking lot, out comes the band and road crew. I waited on the band, all but Angus. I started to take their order. With thier thick accents, Phil Rudd says I'll have a *hottay*. I said, "Excuse me, what was that?"" Brian jumps in hot tea. Ok, it took a while. I got their order, then l asked them, so where's Angus? Brian says, he sleeping. While setting up the table, l told them i enjoyed thier show, it was entertaining and loud. They asked me, you were at the show? Yup I said, and showed my tour shirt under my uniform. They joked in a way that they were surprised l was there.
I then took some of the road crews order. Then a couple of them went back to the bus and brought back all sorts of AC/DC stuff, including an all access pass. They left a handsome tip, as l told them I'd be seeing them in the coming years. Back then, many star musicians after shows came to Denny's because till 84' we were the only 24 hour restaurant open. David Byrne, Robert Plant, The Wailers, Ronnie Dio etc.
Still to this day of the hunderds of concerts I've seen
AD/DC's Black Ice World Tour is the loudest concert I've ever been to. I was warned, and l wore earplugs along with my daughter. It was still very loud without being distorted. How they're STILL rocking at whatever age they're is beyond me.👍👌👏

I might try to replace the Angus money that they dumped on the crowd. That disappeared. Stuff i got rid of! Glad I kept some and will always have the memories til they vanish too.0
