#StoneGossard says he’ll never play the Sphere, but he will keep making records that sound alive. #PearlJam’s Dark Matter might be their freshest in decades—built fast, full of riffs, and laced with The Cure and U2 vibes. “Letting your art get destroyed by your bandmates works out,” he tells me.
