A very clearly dishonest POTUS is basically making Mafia style threats against the media  on his own propaganda outlet, and your takeaway is that everything he says is fact? 

The discussion is was there possible political motivation behind the cancelling of Steven Colbert's very boring and not funny late show. I'm a Letterman guy from way back and haven't watched since he retired and I think Colbert sucks.  Take my anti Colbert bias out of the picture and you have a guy that criticized the president getting canned to potentially facilitate a merger with Trump favored Ellison owned Skydance media.  Days later the POTUS makes a statement that basically says hey that's a nice late show you other networks have there it sure would be a shame if something happened to it and if it did I hope I'm part of the reason. And we are to just believe that decisions are being made from purely business angles?

Possible political motivation? Do you hear yourself? There's possible political motivation and everything. From your explanation it sounds like skydance doesn't want Colbert.  If this is political and he really makes CBS money, he'll get a new contract in 2 seconds elsewhere. 

Paramount just paid South Park 1.5 billion dollars and they had a lot of bad stuff to say about Trump. For old shows already in the can

meaning...in the can, they are paying for finished shows. So if they are going so forcely against Trump and the network just paid them 1.5 billion, what gives? Colbert's attacks are no good but South Park can attack as much as they want?

So let’s just forget about the hundreds of young women who have been abused by Epstein and cohorts? Because they just aren’t worth the effort and time instead just focus on Democrats not winning! How come it can’t be both? Tell you what I’d rather see these women get the justice they deserve instead of having another Democrat  president as long as all the perpetrators get outed including this fuckface president that’s occupying the WH today and anyone involved no matter what political affiliation they have.

It's funny that he is using Epstein issue this way, cause it's so far about the only issue that has brought the D's and regular everyday MAGA together.  Very few issues are this black and white....this issue has a right side and a wrong side, it's not opinion based at all.

Then again, lots of people were up in arms about catholic priests abusing boys....all the while still taking their little son to church every sunday.

These celebrities are in love with themselves, and have no idea what it takes to keep a large company like CBS on the right track.  Many large companies have been mismanaged into oblivion.  It's fun to make fun of management, but the amount of hatred that spews from Letterman and Colbert makes me think they aren't so innocent or kind.  They think they are replaceable.  

Conan is the only one that has the right to go after NBC.  Conan was the best of all of them, even though the masses liked Leno more.  

P.S. It could have been a bribe.  I would love to be paid $125m and fired though.
