Pearl Jam in Bill Flanagan's U2 At the End of the World

Hardly recent news, I know, but having recently read Bill Flanagan's excellent book, U2 At the End of the World, I thought I would throw it out there that there are some very interesting passages about early Pearl Jam as an opening band for U2 and, generally, some very complementary comments about the band and Eddie Vedder in particular.  Chapter 32, 33, 35, 42, and 50 in particular were very interesting that way.  But then, I found the entire 525 tome a marvelous and engaging read.  My many notes in tiny print on a 4" x 6" Post-it attest to that.  Great stuff in this book!

    It really is!
Reading that book takes the reader along for the ride.  I was very immersed in the story all the way!
In one of the later stories in the book, Flanagan talks about Bono introducing Frank Sinatra at the Grammys.  I didn't see that when it happed, so found it on YouTube.  Not P.J. related, but so good!
