I do Wordle a few minutes after midnight. Last night, I was up a lot later than usual, haha!
So much for, "Five-letter words my foreign speaking girl friend will know."
I asked my wife this morning, "WTF is a... no, no, I won't ask that until you've done today's Wordle. And good luck!"
Right?? ... to be honest, I now forget what the word was. But I know I'd never heard or seen it before in my life. After midnight someone please remind me!

SPOILER anyone who hasn't done the 7/18/25 Wordle yet. The answer is in the text below.
I believe the fellow who developed Wordle originally planned to use words in Wordle that his girlfriend from India would recognize. So I asked C, "Would the guy really expect the girlfriend from India to know that word?" She said, "Actually, she probably would be more familiar with it than we are because that's where loris are from."
But then I fact checked her and, nope, those primates are not common in India. So maybe I remembered wrong and the girlfriend is not from India? Oh hell, now I'm all confused!
