This is interesting. Was it an elevator version or the real deal? I hear some good music walking into Kohls these days when I make my Amazon returns for my daughter. They blast music in the parking lot now.

I was getting varicose vein surgery. The doctor was blasting PJ radio. I went into the operating room and was like, "Is this Pearl Jam radio?" The doctor said, "Oh, are you a fan?"

So I tuned in to Kosmos 93.6 earlier this morning, and the first thing I heard was the host (Giorgos Mouchtaridis) talking about the documentary Matter of Time, how much he and his listeners love Eddie Vedder and that the previously played song was Just Breathe by Pearl Jam

Walking along a semi rural canal tow path on a Sunday in the north west of England about 15 years ago I passed a factory that had Not For You blasting from the windows. I walked that path regularly in the years in lived nearby and it was the only time I ever heard music coming from that building. Always struck me as odd.

I was just listening to the MTV unplugged concert while I was cleaning out my chicken coop! My teenage self would have been pretty happy that she was still living the farm life while listening to Pearl Jam! The chickens seem to enjoy the music too!

I was in the dentist (I hate the dentist..childhood trauma) under nitrous.. getting a crown. I thought I was imagining it, I thought I was dreaming, but I suddenly became more aware. “Crown of Thorns” was playing. My dentist said “Turn her up to (what ever the next highest level is). After it was over I told them I love their music. They had no clue what I was talking about.

A funeral.
It was my Dad's funeral and I thought it was fitting given we both loved music. Always had the radio playing and he took me to a number of concerts. Pearl Jam 2016 tour was our last concert together.
I didn't think it was strange but the other guests I know thought it strange.
RIP Dad.
