I thought he was retiring, can’t blame him guys been going hard for 40 + years. If he’s still looking to drum, then something happened. IMO

Can't help feeling the same way. Not really my business but as a dedicated fans, it doesn't feel good. Kind of like when a couple you know gets divorced. Awkward.
Really shouldn't be, not my business, whatever. Just feels suck-o.

Or maybe he wants to make music but doesn’t want to travel and tour anymore. Yeah, they didn’t tour much, but if you had a net worth of 70+ million, you only need to work when you want to.

There's likely many reasons beyond what we'll ever know folks. I can relate, after leaving something that was a big part of my life for a decade- you can really dig a rabbit hole thinking of reasons why.

With that said, MC's departure looks very amicable, respectful, and timed well- considering they just wrapped a monumental album/tour cycle. Plus, I read a rumor that Soundgarden is getting back together with a new singer and tour. Makes sense, since they are being inducted into the Rock Hall this year. Maybe the dude just wants to help out his Soundgarden bros while he still can.

Net worth of $70M?  I saw him at SeaTac twice in the last 18 months.  You can bet most folks with a $70M net worth fly private.

Nope. 1st class yes. Private no. Not if they wanna stay wealthy. Private charter flights are only common for the uber rich. Regular rich people typically only fly private when someone else is paying for it.
