There is nothing wrong with using chain link or the type of sinks being used in itself. Going on camera about it in tears like AOC did only when the other side is in the White House is fake.

It's a stupid narrative and actually does their cause more harm than good IMO, in a country where that is pretty standard equipment for all prisons across the country. If their arguments ar meant to convince people of something, they might do best to leave that part out.

All the rest... deplorable and disgusting. America is fully entering into concentration camp territory, and with all this new funding, such camps are going to spring up all over the place, and honestly, under these circumstances, the likelihood of actual serious sanitation disasters is SUPER high, like where we'll see people literally lying in their own filth. i said chain link and the combo sinks in and of themselves. Those are all conditions that can happen with or without that. Most of the pictures I’ve seen include fencing within a larger facility, but not always. Plumbing not working is unrelated to the type of sink.

I’m not defending the use of alligator Alcatraz. Just specifically calling the use of chain link as cages and complaining about the combo sinks is an irrelevant point. It’s standard that’s been going on for years and everyone stopped complaining about it 4 years ago until this year again. I agree with what PJsoul said about the narrative. She said it well, read her comment.

As long as the conditions remain sanitary I have no problem with the fences and sinks. But, as you pointed out, they aren’t sanitary. That’s not because of the fencing and the sinks though, they just need better basic conditions.

First off, they should be given due process.

Secondly, if they are not charged with a crime, back to their families and work.

Thirdly, any that really are hardened criminals, back to #1 above.

Fourthly, most are not criminals, so there is no need for that inhumane caging.

Where are we supposed to put them? I don't know a good answer. And that is the unsolved problem. The person that solves it might make a billion. I am truly sorry your free space is not comfortable and you do not get free phones or a clean toilet.

First off, they should be given due process.
Secondly, if they are not charged with a crime, back to their families and work.
Thirdly, any that really are hardened criminals, back to #1 above.
Fourthly, most are not criminals, so there is no need for that inhumane caging.

"When they show you who they are"..... yep, I see it... where are the 1000s coming here illegally? I know where alot of them WERE.... WORKING.... in fields, in construction, etc. Now they're disappearing...

I’ve said before I don’t agree with the ice raids. I think the increased ice budget is a waste of money. People who have an established life here should be allowed to stay. I disagree with a lot of what ice is doing.
But my comment was specifically about the conditions of the holding cells, or more accurately reflecting on the comments about them.
Why are they only called cages when it’s Trump? Why do people only have an issue with the plumbing when it’s Trump?

There is nothing wrong with using chain link or the type of sinks being used in itself. Going on camera about it in tears like AOC did only when the other side is in the White House is fake.

In and of itself, sure. As long as the conditions remain humane and sanitary. Chain link fences and combo sinks alone don’t make it inhumane and unsanitary by themselves.
