This was an incredibly emotional night. Being in the room with so many strong and courageous people was amazing and impactful. Seeing Ed and Jill’s commitment was beyond evident. They are so passionate about conquering this disease. They are both amazing human beings. The courage of these kids is most remarkable. The world today fills the news with so much shit, that this night was a much needed reminder that there are so many extraordinary people doing great things to help others.
It sounds crazy to say but as great as Ed was, and he was his usual brilliant self, his performance actually took a back seat to the film we had just seen I can only assume that that’s how he would want it to be… I am lucky to have been there with my wife and two kids who are 25 &23.. We hugged them a lot last night. once again came to the realization that we like so many here on this forum are so lucky in so many ways.. Much Love LS
