    Up until last week, I always thought it was "Everything has CHANGED,.."

    I can't believe it's actually CHAINS - it actually lessens the impact of this song for me. I always looked at it as everything in the world outside of me has changed, but nothing inside of me has changed, so absolutely nothing's changed. Bummer.


    Me too. I thought it said "everything has changed." I related to that! Now I have to re-relate? Nah. I am going to keep it "changed."

    I think everyone can relate to that line, and the way he sings it shows the pain in its meaning.
