    If I HAD to choose, and this is torture, believe me, I'd say the line that sums up Eddie for me is from Leash-

    "I'm lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side. I am right by your side."

    That says it all to me, speaks to me very personally, because his music HAS been part of my life for all these years- through a miscarriage, the birth of my son, my divorce, the weird directions my life has taken now & then- his words run through my head and I feel him "right by my side." Their music is like an undercurrent in my life. And while it says that he's lost, too, hell everyone is, we can be lost together and that's what counts.
