I’m not mad, I’m just saying the link Brad provided never showed the poster for sale. Looks like it did for some and not others.0
-
I understand being mad about that, but that doesn’t have anything to do with the artist or the artist’s copiesinmyrvm said:
I've been mad since they didn't have enough of anything at the shows. No reason I shouldn't have been able to get a poster and a plate for when I got insideKM73780 said:I feel like the flippers are the ones that get mad about this stuff?0 -
Please add me to the waiting list if anyone complains and cancels their order.bradklausen said:
i think i will be sending out emails to everyone who purchased one and send an invoice… i can’t afford such a short sighted mistake on my part…. it’s feast or famine as a freelancer so every penny counts.pjhead said:
You should cancel all orders and put them up again. I may get one the 3rd time 😂.bradklausen said:had meant to adjust the price from $100 to $150……. was thinking so much bout just making sure everything was set up so it would go smooth…. forgot to adjust the price…………….stupid brad.0 -
i had my phone open to the poster’s url, when i made them live i refreshed the link on my phone and the add to cart button was there but then the inventory sold out in leas then 20 seconds
so it was working on my phone…. again i don’t know why it works for some but not others. There’s X amount of people all showing up at the exact same time to the exact same url so i don’t know what causes it to work fine for one person and not for someone else

It’s almost certainly just the popularity of the print and volume of people on the site. Thousands of fans trying to buy the best print of the tour and one of the best of the last few years. Always going to be some people successful and many more unsuccessful. In all honesty you would probably have sold 1000 copies had you had them.bradklausen said:if shopify doesn’t work as well for some folks… i don’t know how to address that. I know the banner on the shopify store effects the clickability of the images but i guess in landscape this isn't an issue
but if the site doesn’t work as it should for some people and works fine for others… i don’t know how to fix that or if it’s something i could even address and is not based on each person’s individual device / internet service
i wish it worked the same for everyone… i don’t know why it doesn’tThanks Brad for running a successful couple of drops. Can’t wait to see the print when it arrives.0 -
I was refreshing constantly once it was 4:59 (mst).bradklausen said:i had my phone open to the poster’s url, when i made them live i refreshed the link on my phone and the add to cart button was there but then the inventory sold out in leas then 20 seconds

When it went live I hit add to cart and it was sold out.
I got barely a whiff.
But glad I had an opportunity.
No perfect way to do this.0 -
Let me be the second in line for that @bradklausenpjhead said:

Honestly you could probably go even higher and maybe that’d weed out some of the flippers? Always appreciate your honesty, transparency, and fair prices. Thank youbradklausen said:

You definitely should. Something similar to me happened with a Zoltron print once. He accidentally posted the price too low on his site, and then contacted me and asked if I'd pay the additional amount, and I did so without hesitation.bradklausen said:

Even $150 is a very generous price for this print, given the demand.0 -
Time to watch a movie with my lovely and patient wife. Congrats to the scorers and thanks to Brad for creating this cool piece of art. 🤘0

I mean his site messed up when I tried to buy one both times, but I'm not even mad at him. It's the band and their supplier that's made this miserable for a lot of people. The ignorant comments like the above surely don't help.KM73780 said:

He won't! I had the same issue with his Napa poster from last year. He never returned my emails or acknowledged the issue in any way.darwinstheory said:
Curious if @bradklausen has addressed the link that many of us had an issue with clicking. When the PJ poster was listed and we weren't able to click that one or the poster next to it (Puscifer I think it was). We never had a chance.Loujoe said:Maybe should do a random lottery to purchase. i thought about raising it to $200 at Color Haiku but that just seems like a lot, but i knew given the demand they’d sell…. and i watch other artists sell for more…. and as i said freelance is feast or famine and every month i can pay to live as an artist is another month staying afloat and surviving…. but even after 20 years i never know what is not only a fair price to charge but also the best price to charge for me to get what a print is worth… cause not every print resonates with people… was talking to my peers at Color Haiku about this and we all seem to exist in a world where we never know how to find the Goldilocks price point for each printartforbw said:

The links work better in landscape mode for some reason if you are using a phone to purchase. Try it out, you will notice the difference.ACCBootlegGoddess said:

Real buyers would rather give the money to the artist rather than flippers. I’m sure the demand would have still been there at $200.bradklausen said:

I had the same issue with Napa Valley last year, so this isn't a new issue. Still bummed to not even get on the list for any cancelations back then. (I did message/emailed you requesting to) congrats to all who scored today or via a cancelation.bradklausen said:if shopify doesn’t work as well for some folks… i don’t know how to address that. You deserve to not just survive but also thrive. Your art is your craft and you should charge what you want for it.bradklausen said:

I used my MacBook Air which was wired to my 1GB FiOS connection. I was able to purchase one, but I was refreshing the product page with my left hand and controlling the mouse with the right. I used Shopify to checkout so everything was already autofilled. Just sharing this because I didn’t experience any issues today, and I know I’m fortunate.bradklausen said:i had my phone open to the poster’s url, when i made them live i refreshed the link on my phone and the add to cart button was there but then the inventory sold out in leas then 20 seconds

Just went back in stock just now. And again, I get the same payment screen error.
