Is there no AP for this? Or did it drop without much fanfare?
I've not seen one - and i messaged the artist a couple of times without getting a reply
I messaged early (when the backlash was going on about a reused print idea) and he said there would be one.

But usually these SE’s go up in 10C after the AP’s drop which had me confused.
Yeah it's very weird. Never seen an artist less interested about selling their art!
My understanding from social media posts at the time is that one of the artists is simply too busy to deal with it right now.

The other artist, who was very stoked to have been asked to do his first PJ poster, was informed about the rude comments made here on The Porch about his poster, and is now rather disenchanted with the whole thing.
If that’s true then they’d be wise to talk to other artists across a breadth of the industry. Art exists for so many reasons, and one of the main components of any one is a willingness to embrace criticism in any form.

I’d ask how the image used represents the band, its music, and the city the work is being used for (apart from his being from Nashville).

If artists could use venues and band member images (the Ride Festival poster from Emek was kind of an exception), the above image would make a hell of a poster...fans streaming in with the players replaced by the band.

The makes me sad. All art forms are subjective and we support new artists. 💔

When he posted this image on a skate deck, it was called “Inside Job”, so maybe that’s why he used it for PJ?
