Dead Man Walking, Hype, off the top of my head.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

This may sound odd, but I've always felt that "The Cable Guy" had kind of a grunge feel too it.

Jack Black is also seen wearing a Superunknown shirt in the film, and I believe it's set somewhere in the NW.

There's a Sean Penn film and his daughter is in the movie. EV did the soundtrack which is a lot better than the film.  I think it was called Flag Day - see trailer Bing Videos

Black Sheep (1996).  It's the hastened Farley/Spade studio production to cash in on the success of Tommy Boy.

Filmed in WA and has Mudhoney.  Subpar movie, but it has mid-90's nostalgia.  Good Sunday morning watch in the background.

Do the Basketball Diaries (1995) fall under the Grunge movies category?

    I think Basketball Diaries counts!

I've been rewatching Twin Peaks for the first time in 25 years, and I forget how of the time it was - certainly puts me back in the grunge era - people wearing flannels, filmed in Washington (Snoqualmie), the hair, look and style. Zero music however, but that show is about as 1990 as it gets for me " =)

@PJ1973 it sound like you might enjoy Twin Peaks the return, 25 years later. EV features on the soundtrack, out of time, possibly.

I didn't see The Return when it came out, but now about EV, or Eddie Severson, as he's credited, lol.

I'm making my way up to it now - 1/2 way through season 2 now.

    1991: The Year Punk Broke

I enjoyed this documentary that's primarily about Sonic Youth.
