I hate when opposing players do these gestures to us but never it seems to other teams.
This is Tatum-wanna-be-Kobe-level cheesy, but we deserved it
    Why
If you dont want people act-out, then close. I drove to pick someone up at the airport and I when I left, Knicks were up 14. 10ish min drive, by the time I stopped at the curb, game is tied. 20 pts in 2 mins, we deserved that cheesy-ass taunt.
Yea but other teams lose leads
But other teams don't claim to be playing in the "Mecca of basketball" while they only have a measly 2 titles in their history.
The Mecca of Basketball claim is moreso for NYC vs the Knicks back in the 80's and 90's. Lots of ballers came out of NY. Basketball and its culture were everywhere. We also claim those who were born in NY, but grew up elsewhere. Ha

I always viewed “The Mecca” based on the elecricity of the Garden itself and not having anything to do with the Knicks.

Don't throw the whole city in there.  Many of us are rooting for the Pacers lol

I don’t know if they’ll win the series, but I definitely think the Knicks will win game 3 and makes this a series.

I've lived just north of NYC my entire life, but I'm a Lakers fan (grew up during the Magic/Kareem Showtime era).

That being said, I'm bummed. When the Knicks are good, there's a palpable energy in the city that's just different. The Knicks are pretty much all my family, friends, & I have talked about since the start of the playoffs. Some of them have even been spotted at local places lately (I'm not far from where they practice).

It's not impossible for them to come back, but I'm not holding my breath.
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

Not done til it's done, but if we lose this series, Thibs will probably be gone. The man is just completely outcoached by Carlisle so far in this series.

Last night was a perfect example. Not sure what he was doing. Not inserting Towns back in until 3:00 to go….at the same time, leaving Robinson, 40% free throw shooter out there to just be fouled at will late in the game down 8-10 points….rotation was flawed all night.

Game one, exhausting his challenges, which cost them dearly and then not managing timeouts effectively down the stretch and not emphasizing taking clock off and forcing Indiana to foul. Any one different decision and the series is at least tied.

I'm obviously a keyboard coach, but I would probably start Mitch, Kat, OG, Hart, and JB. Let Bridges come-off the bench for some continued firepower with Deuce. Bridges is non-existent 50% of the game anyway. I'd swap out Bridges with Hart down the stretch, and put Hart in for Mitch to close depending on how Kat is doing with rebounding and/or defense.

They should have won a game earlier if the refs didn't give Minnesota the call
