Anyone else think the merch situation has become completely insane and anti-fan? I really wanted a poster for a milestone show last night and unless I took the day off (I live in Pittsburgh and had to work) I was screwed. Meanwhile there are already a ton of posters on eBay for like $350 for TOMORROW NIGHT’s show! I’m getting pretty fed up with it. All they have to do is print more posters or sell them on the web site like they used to. Anyone else remember when they told us we don’t have to carry posters around all night like a Cadbury egg? About 20 years ago?
That and the tokens, kind of like the “trinkets” the settlers gave to the Indians. I just find the artwork from the show I want and pay someone $20 to make me one for me.

Yeah, nothing left for Nashville N2 either and we got there before doors. Scalpers here have had a heyday on this stuff for a long time. It really surprises me that a band that values its fanbase so much let people without tickets buy all the show specific items - I'm new to 10C. Has this been the practice in the past?
We did the pre-show merch line in Nashville. The line was longer on N1 for some reason. We got there around noon both days and it was 2.5 hours N1 and about 1 hour for N2. It was nice to see that they had limits on the number of things you could buy. Can't speak for inside merch, but we walked by the merch tent on the way to grab food probably between 4-5pm and I think I still saw some posters and show t-shirts. Definitely saw some N1 posters. I think the N2 posters might have gone a little quicker. As far as scalpers go, I realize its impossible to tell if someone is a flipper or not, but it seemed like the majority of folks in line were fans. Lots of PJ t-shirts and lots of comments on my Temple of the Dog/Wonderbread shirt. That said, if its fellow fans flipping stuff, that's not very cool guys.
