Wow, 472 pages.. got to admit, I'm way too lazy to read through all that. Can someone recommend a nice frame for my new posters? I just ordered some from Amazon with a nice wood frame and glass front, but they were half inch too small on each sideRaleigh, NC 5/11/25 & 5/13/250

If I want matting on a standard 18x24 poster, should I be looking for a 20x26 frame? I'm self diagnosed with OCD and am going to be ISO the same frame for all posters. Forgive the glare. We have to hang Pittsburgh night 2 but are waiting for night 1 to be delivered. I broke down and bought one on eBay when they were relatively cheaper than what they are selling for now. I’m now nervous that the seller won’t ship it and will just take the negative feedback to make the extra $200 for today’s prices.

How do you frame these so fast???#Grievance20250

I just buy an 18x24 frame from Amazon. I think they look fine without mattes. In the case of any poster being a different size, I use a shop on Etsy called CustomMatBoards. You can buy a frame that is larger/smaller and have them cut a matte to any size with any opening.Shaindli1 said:How do you frame these so fast???We did this for the 2003 Pittsburgh show. I had them cut a very thin matte so it would fit in the same size frame as the others.0 -

Added decks to the poster collection. Green deck signed by Jeff at RNDM and was lucky enough to score a deck in Nashville at the early merch line N2. What a great weekend! ride amongst the waves...0 -
Hey there, question for ya. So I wanted to get a matte put in for the two Pittsburgh posters I got this past weekend. Do you know what size works with that size (assuming the posters are the 18x24). Never framed any of my posters yet, and wanted to get them uphelium121 said:

There are lots of ways to frame your art. If it is valuable ( money wise or memory wise) I recommend using UV type glass to protect your art from fading . Sites like Frame it easy , Art to Frame , offer semi-affordable frames and mats while sites like Firehouse18 offer special one of a kind frames and matting.0

The posters are 18x24. Just buy a matte where the cutout portion is slightly smaller than that. Maybe 17 3/4” x 23 3/4”. It just depends how much of the poster you want covered. Usually not too much so 1/4” on both isn’t bad. Then just buy the matte in whatever frame size you want. If you buy a 20x28 frame, that would be the dimension size. The picture above is how my normal order would look on the Etsy store I mentioned above. Just keep in mind while I think this looks good and have used for several pictures throughout my house, a professional framer will always look better. We used a professional framer for one item because it was an odd size and it cost us over $200 for one picture. I’m more than happy going this cheaper route.0 -
