    Nothing is imminent.
I’ve met Jeff twice in the last 18 months, yesterday and in Austin 2023, and bugged him about Canada both times.
In Austin he told me he loved playing Canada and if it were up to him they’d play there every year.
Yesterday I told him I hope they have one run across Canada left in them and he said that’s a tour they love doing in September.
We know they like playing in May and September.  2025 is done for shows.  Hopefully in the next couple years.
I’m not sure how the business and economics plays into it with our weak dollar.  Also tricky since we really only have three cities that could support this two-show-per-city format, one of which got shows in 2024 (Vancouver).
    2003 - June 15 Fargo
    2005 - Sept 1 George, Sept 8 Winnipeg
2006 - May 9/10 Toronto, June 26/27 St. Paul, July 22/23 George, Oct 21/22 Mountain View
    2007 - Aug 2/5 Chicago
    2008 - June 22 Washington, June 24/25 New York
    2009 - Aug 21 Toronto, Aug 23/24 Chicago, Sept 21/22 Seattle, Oct 27/28/30/31 Philadelphia
    2010 - May 15 Hartford, May 17 Boston, Oct 23/24 Mountain View
2011 - Sept 3/4 Alpine Valley, Sept 11/12 Toronto, Sept 17 Winnipeg, Sept 19 Saskatoon
    2012 - Sept 30 Missoula
2013 - July 16 London, July 19 Chicago, Oct 12 Buffalo, Dec 2 Calgary, Dec 4 Vancouver, Dec 6 Seattle
    2014 - Oct 16 Detroit, Oct 19 St. Paul, Oct 20 Milwaukee
    2015 - Sept 23 (Colbert)/Sept 26, New York
    2016 - Apr 28/29 Philadelphia, May 10/12 Toronto, Aug 20/22 Chicago

The band is firing on all cylinders!  It sucks we are only getting eleven shows this year.
The band has played something like 50 shows in the last 13 months. They deserve the break. These shorter runs means they could tour longer.
imagine working only 50 days in 13 months and needing a break? lol. i'm sure they would be 100% refreshed and recharged after taking a break for 3 or 4 months.  bring on september and october shows!!!
actually 50 show means 150 (?) days on tour?
away from home, I bet at 60 yrs old that is not as fun as it used to be.

In fairness, over 500 people over 60 work where I do. They work in worse conditions, more hours and probably harder work. But they also aren't millionaires.

I'm in my 40s and was wiped after flying in and out same day for a work thing last month. Yeah, they have luxury hotels and personal trainers and whatnot, but I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to spend the time on the road they did across all DM legs.

Ha! I'd trade that lifestyle/resources/income per days worked in a heartbeat! And it's not particularly close.
