I’ll admit that I bought an extra skate deck but I’m not going to flip it. Only interested in trading for other merch items I wasn’t able to get on my own. Is that wrong? Maybe so.
Definitive not on level with re-sellers who are going for profit in $.
But the individual „need“ to trade stuff for other stuff is part of the whole mess. All startet years back in the past. There must be a lot of people like you with merch gaps in their own gig history.
The Problem snowballed through the time and exploded possibly when www and smartphone in combination was in the hands of everyone everywhere.
I wonder how the following would end on Tuesday / at any Arena show concerning leftovers:
All of the city merch sales strictly after ticket-scan (access for ticket holders only) AND every city item limited to 1 per customer.
Problem: limited to 1 on location isn‘t doable that easy > except the merch stall is located in a ONE WAY area - once passed there is no comeback.
Edit: a group of (for example) 4 people can always buy 4 things - and only one person can be the Re-seller.
Anyway the skate decks are easily the most delicate thing. It’s the worst case, when landed in the hands of the „wrong“ people. The City Tokens are the other delicate thing: 1 (ONE WAY) or even better > it’s the giveaway to everyone right after ticket-scan (already popped up in the EVENT TOKENS thread)
Same labor dispute as December. Government just (illegally) paused it til now so they could win an election. Now they can screw over the workers and the customers (with service cuts) and no one can vote against them for years.

My deck originally showed a delivery date of May 19th, but with mail innovations that is a swag at best. It shows it arrived in St Louis Tuesday, unfortunately I don't live in St Louis. From there it could end up going to Champaign IL or could come to my town, who really knows. Hopefully it will be here in a couple of days.
