Ive never made a song request before, but here goes:
Friday my daughter Ellie turns 14 and I am taking her to her first Pearl Jam show. She is a loving, compassionate girl who stands up to bullies and takes care of those around her. She is also turning into a huge fan, and has evolved from thinking Plush was a pearl jam song to stealing her dad’s pineapple bombs Insignificance shirt and wearing it every chance she gets.
Her favorite song is Garden. Her favorite part of Garden is the chorus - specifically the ‘i will walk…’
Ellie and her friends give me hope that the next generation can be better than my own, and achieve the things we failed. If you could play Garden, or at least that moment, in honor of her birthday it would make what will already be a memorable night one that is absolutely unforgettable.
