40min into the Billy Corgan interview with Tom Morello, he talks about the Chili Pepper/Pearl Jam/Smashing Pumpkin tour and mention Pearl Jams worry and their record company pressure.

Weird no one here cares about Pearl Jam stuff unless it is about buying cynical vinyl variants. The KISS-fanbase of rock. But Far Out Magazine cares at least. Thank God for Far Out Magazine:

There are merch hounds no doubt. This story is about a long time ago. For the last 20+ years they have done what they want. Why does this matter in 2025?

PJ aside, how was the interview?

I absolutely love the Pumpkins, my 2nd favorite after PJ, but when WPC opens his mouth and doesn't sing, he tends to be insufferable. I haven't listened to any of the interviews yet.
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

I sometimes can’t stand Corgan. But both the Gene Simmons and Tom Morello-interview were very good (regarding Corgan - tough getting Gene off his worn out sond bites)

The thread title and body of the original post don't really jibe. Then there's no link if someone is actually curious to check out more or discuss.

You should. He’s mellowed in age and parenthood. Less preemptive strikes than when he was younger.
