Great show. It was my 40th and lucky enough to see it in my hometown. Peter Frampton was incredible. Just a really fun and cool moment that everyone enjoyed. I know I'm biased being a Nashvillian, but thought the crowd both nights were next level. The band really fed off the crowd Tuesday and you could tell if carried over to tonight. Eddie looking surprised during Betterman was a fun moment. Never get tired of seeing them live and thanks guys for making these shows special.
Also a big shout out to whoever designed the t shirt and sticker for night 2. For those who may not know, the locomotive on the shirt/sticker is a WWII era steam locomotive that sits in Centennial Park near the Parthenon. It was refurbished several years ago and we used to play on it when we were kids. Johnny Cash used it in photoshoot for Life magazine cover in 1969 (google the pics and you'll see how massive it is). Nashville has some iconic backdrops that lots of bands use, but whoever decided to use the train, thanks. Lot of nostalgia with that one. That was a true deep cut lol.
Show sweet 16 for me and what a special night with Frampton!!! I think Nashville has solidified its place as a PJ destination going forward. It should be included with regular tour stops going forward.

Waited to grab a pair late, was nervous only 300s were available, scored 107 Row M… really nice seats with great energy all around. Scott & David awesome seeing you guys amongst so many others at the preparty…. Robert how we didn’t see you right in front of us on the GA line the previous show 🤣 nice talking to you & your wife at the preparty… got to do some fishing together one day
Just got to Raleigh… beat up a bit, time to Rally for Raleigh! Can’t imagine it being better but they always seam to find a way
I'm brand damn new. Have been a casual fan for decades as I'm an old (saw Hovercraft in '95) but tickets are always hard to get in Nashville. However last couple records have blown me away and I went for it this time - mind is completely blown. Not For You AND Wishlist AND Crazy Mary plus Dark Matter and Wreckage!! Came straight back home and signed up for Ten Club. About damn time to join the Jamily! Thanks for the AMAZING time all!!
I think this was one of my favorites so far. I was on the rail just to the right of Ed. The band was full on energy. Ed was pacing around the stage in circles like a caged lion. I thought maybe we were in for angry Ed, but he was in great spirits. Peter Frampton was an amazing surprise guest. When Ed asked the crowd to light up their phones during Black it was beautiful. I finally got the Ed split jump photo that I had been trying to get for the last few shows. Ed told a story about touching Chrissy Hynde’s boot when he was a teenager at a Pretenders concert. She kicked his hand away. A few minutes later he purposely stepped his boot in front of us and we all grabbed it. He didn’t kick us away. Also, Ed gave me the pick he used on RVM. As usual, I had a blast.

Had a really great time at the show. Was in the pit a few people back just left of Ed. Special shout-out to @bzouiden for the GA ticket and being a gracious show buddy. Highlights for me were Black w/Peter Frampton (!!!), Insignificance, Garden, Hail Hail, Crazy Mary.. Everyone around me was having a blast and the energy was amazing. Was nice seeing quite a few people I met N1. I’m always blown away by how kind and caring PJ fans are- such a great community to be a part of 🫶🏻
This was a solidly excellent Pearl Jam concert. One of the highlights is that the audience was a band member. The General Admission area was in sync with the band; the hands in the air were combing the sky with applause.
Peter Frampton on the stage during Black was very cool. The whole concert was excellent all around. I loved Crazy Mary.
I think the band had a little more spark on Thursday. Happy Mother's Day to the Moms
You'll see from my May 06 write-up that I included some comments about Evolution. It was played during the May 08 show, and I refused to look at the screen. Look at the band, look at the band, look at the band, don't look at the screen, look at the band, I kept thinking to myself.
I last saw Pearl Jam in 2023 in Austin. In 2024, I got a tattoo on the inside of my right forearm of the Pearl Jam stickman. At the end of each of these Nashville shows, I remembered I had it, and I would lift my hands up (everyone had their hands up, so this wasn't out of line), and point to my tattoo. On Tuesday, I don't know if Mike saw my tattoo. I pointed it out on Thursday, and I saw Eddie kind of nod his head. Now, as we all know, the band is seeing many things; to the right of us, to the left of us, behind us, etc. Even though in our hearts we are asking Look at me, look at me, look at me, they may not see the true awesomeness in front of them as they are seeing the true awesomeness from someone else.
As I was leaving, a stranger in the row behind me, unprovoked, said he saw your tattoo. I said, yeah, I was pointing at it. He said, yes, he saw your tattoo (not the exact words, but close). Anyway, that was a very kind thing for that fellow fan to do. It closed a loop. I put in an effort, and he confirmed that the effort was acknowledged. I ended the Nashville trip with a kindness from a stranger

Night two was a special night. PF & Mike wailing away on Black. Omg still get goose bumps thinking about it.
Hail Hail, Garden, CM, Spin the Black Circle! Sonic ReduCeR!! Oh yaaa.
The start with that RVM was soooo good. I love RvM but the night one version just didnt feel right for some reason.
The Pretenders story was a blast from the past as a San Diego guy. Classic Chrissie Hynde move.
Esp cool getting a SD story after our chance encounter w/Ed at 3rd Man the day before and reminiscing a bit about San Diego punk rock clubs etc.
Anyway, Nashville was a blast. A big thank you to PJ (& TJ&tJT girls, sounded real good) for the shows and to Nashville for a real good time!
Had a lotta fun exploring:
Broadway post show Honkytonkin!!, Hatch Show Print!!, the Ryman!! (Rhiannon Giddens), Brooklyn Bowl!! (the Damned & Bell Rays), Country music Hof, Carter Guitars & 3rd MAN RECORDS!!! So fun. Cheers.
Ps: shout out to Glow Girl for the sweet pics. Wow!!

Thanks. I am glad you had a great time. It was an incredible show. Your photos are great as well. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I couldn't have written a better setlist. I had and absolutely FUCKING BLAST in Nashville.
Nashville is just fucking ridiculous.
You were there? Too bad I didn't say Hello.

I was at both Nashville shows and feel like night 2 was the better show. And night 2 was a great show overall, by any measure. Compared to other PJ shows, or other bands, this show had something. It was not that I had great seats for night 2. Night 1 I was row 2, section 114. Night 2 section 118 row 12. Those are very different views, but it wouldn't have matter where you were seated for this one. I don't know what it was, but there was an extra spark in the band, Eddie joking about "allowing" Stone to sing. Peter F*cking Frampton melting stuff, Mike and Boom having a solo competition. Eddie not leaving for the encore. Great setlist, it just didn't pause at all. Even the DTE video was different, seemed more R rated. It all sounded great too.
