Joe announced a handful of dates for later this summer. In his band are Chris Robinson from The Black Crowes and Robert DeLeo & Eric Kretz from Stone Temple Pilots. I think I’m going to try to make the trip to Florida for a show. Don’t want to assume they’ll add any more dates.

Looks like Brad Whitford is in the band too. I’m going to try to make the Tampa show and I live in Texas. Don’t want to miss this and with the Crowes & STP still touring regularly I imagine it won’t be often that their schedules are free at the same time.

Last tour Joe had Gary Cherone on vocals.
This should be a great show. Sadly, I will be on vacation out west when the play the 3 New England shows.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Thinking about going to this as well. The setlist may be a killer mix of all 3 bands.

Got tickets for Boston. Incredibly cool lineup and I can't wait to see what they play.

This show was definitely worth the flight. There were some rough moments but it was the first show of the tour and Chris played about 4-5 days ago with the Crowes so they haven’t had a ton of rehearsal time. Plus Eric Kretz had to leave the band due to a family emergency so they used Joe’s usual live drummer for his solo shit. Brad Whitford & Robert DeLeo are the strength of this lineup. Chris sounded great on pretty much everything but Vasoline. That was a mess. His voice is too different than Weiland’s. Interstate Love Song was amazing but they turned that into a slow blues. Sounded almost like a Crowes original the way they played it. Played a lot of deep, early Aerosmith cuts which was awesome. Chip Away At The Stone was incredible. They played a bit of Led Zep Heartbreaker and Chris threw in some Sly & The Family Stone towards the end of Last Child. Would love to catch one of the last shows to see how much they gel between now and then.

If you check setlist.fm that’s not entirely accurate and Blabbermouth.net used that for their article. Heartbreaker was after Get The Lead Out IIRC and they also missed the Sly Stone snippet in Last Child. Oh, Mama Kin was not played which is wrong on the setlist site. Robert posted some rehearsal video of them working up Nobody’s Fault a few days ago so I was disappointed when that didn’t make the set.

Skip skip skip. I don't want to know in advance!

Do you know what time they went on though?
