How bout walking from ppg to drury hotel?

Downtown Pittsburgh is less than a square mile. You can walk anywhere in 10-15 mins. You will see almost the entire crowd making that walk.
Thanks bud!  Appreciate it.  Was last in Pitt summer 2023 and there were definitely some sketchy spots
No problem.. you’ll be fine, this isn’t New Jersey. This is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.. Mister Rodgers Neighborhood. Where choirs sing You Are as you enter the Golden Triangle.
    Sounds awful!!! lol
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

Still trying for night 2....this is the toughest ticket to find for PJ that I cant remember in a long time
    Night 1 harder

I ended up buying premium tickets -- wasn't thrilled about paying so much, but since we already were going to be in town and this year, once again, is sucking hard, I decided to go for it.

I apologize if this has already been asked but do you need a car in downtown PItt for a weekend?

I am staying at the William Penn Hotel which is about 0.5 miles from the arena but I am not sure if that is walkable and/or a safe walk at night (after the show).

I will be in town for the weekend - do I need to get a car to enjoy the city?

    Google maps is very helpful
I am aware of Google maps and used it to figure out that I was about 0.5 miles from the arena.  I just wanted to see if it was a safe walk (looks like we are walking under the expressway and we do not know the areas of the city well).  Google maps just tells you are route, not if it is a good route.
It’s a perfectly safe walk.. there will probably be several thousand people walking up to the arena

It’s a super easy and safe walk.  I think it’s even gradually downhill most of the way (from PPG).  Plus there will be tons of other people walking down 5th right along with you.  A lot of times I’ll park near 5th and Grant and I’ve never been creeped out.
    Thank you both.  Appreciate it.

Glad to know that I do not need a car.  Need to save some $ after seeing hotel costs for the weekend.
    The hotel prices were crazy!!
Booked the cheapest nice place that I could find hoping that prices would come down but they have not at all.
Prices have been high ever since tour announced
Unfortunately, I booked right after the tour was announced (I should have booked based on tour rumors like some other people did).

It is crazy that one band playing 2 concerts can drive up an entire city's hotel prices so much.  I don't think that happened in other cities for this tour.
Pretty much anywhere there is a big event, hotel prices go up.

Anyone else surprised at the lack of tickets available? I'm no stranger to using F2F to sell or 'trade up', but there have been so few tickets on F2F for these shows that it has me a bit nervous to travel without tickets in hand.
This, and I don't want to have to resort to it, but still looking for 2x N1, as long as we're in the building... has anybody used VividSeats or Stubhub for these shows recently?
