That was a really good one. Exceeded all expectations based on the amount of tickets available. I thought the 100s closest to the stage were REALLY into it, more than GA. Great setlist. First In Hiding since 2016, I was thrilled…then to follow that up with NFY and later Severed Hand out of no where…chefs kiss. That arena, especially the upper deck, is massive. Ran into some fans before the band came on. Great vibes tonight.

Edit: Walked into the pit at 7:45pm and I posted up Stone’s side on the side barrier. Band came on, I was 10 rows away. Encore I was 7 rows away. Clear view the entire night with a lot of space 👍🏽

Reporting from my time in section 114. Really strong set, everyone sounded sharp and they just banged right on through those songs! My first time hearing Can’t Keep, epic. Any set with Inside Job makes me happy as can be.

The crowd was loud and it was hot!

Two bad parts: no No code, unfortunate. Sadly, I was in front of two gents who couldn’t help but yap away most of the time.

The view from 116. Great folks around us and an amazing set! Maybe it was the seats but DTE sounded a touch slower and Spin the Black Circle sounded like someone lost their place for a minute. Also looked like Jeff was having issues with sound during Indifference.

Now can we speak about Dead Pioneers please? I want to thank Jeff Ament for getting this group in front of us. Those guys. “Oh we offended you? Well let us apologize- fuck you! maybe you needed to be offended!” Pretty classic punk to me. I think their approach to music is nothing new yet very refreshing. It’s a middle finger to the standards. If you’re going to Thursday’s show I would recommend giving them a listen. Most folks are like nah, not for me. Go. Be offended. If you can “stomach” the DTE cartoon, then Dead Pioneers won’t be that bad. And you’ll get to see a pretty good punk band. Not some bubble gum flavor of the month pop punk. And maybe we’ll get another DEI joke about the drummer/bass/guitar player.

Sorry, still coming off of last nights “high”. Was a long time coming and we had a blast last night. Looking forward to what is in store for N2.

I walked out of the show last night on such a high, I was so wired I didn’t fall asleep until 330am. I woke up this morning thinking….what a night! Stand out show post-covid and it was only 2 Hours 10 Minutes. Take nothing for granted.

They really are on fire right out the gate this spring... as someone mentioned elsewhere, it will be a damn shame if this is it for live shows in 2025, they're playing so f'ing well.

First time I haven’t had to travel for a PJ show in 13 years! It was kind of a weird feeling. The setlist was incredible. The energy in GA was lacking to start but picked up. Looking forward to Thursday!

Awesome set!!  Unthought Known, Won’t Tell, and Severed Hand are such great songs that most didn't seem to really know (in section 106 anyway). The hits and the DM songs were kicking. Looking forward to Thursday!

My PJ buddy couldn't make the Atl trip and they played Deep (his white whale)!  Hopefully they play it again at one of the Raleigh shows.

    PS - Traffic sucked!  lol

Incredible show! Was my first time being in the pit for them--were probably 15-20 people deep a little left of Eddie. Amazing experience finally seeing them so close up.  Great setlist, great energy from the band, people around us were fine and no pushing or crowding etc. Can't wait for Thursdays show, in section 118 for that one. Would like to be in the pit again, but my aging knees and feet will be grateful to not have to stand quite as long.

If I were someone who had the option of going to FL shows or Atlanta shows and I had chosen FL, I would have been feeling the sting of having made the wrong choice 🤣 luckily I have no monies so I stayed home 🤣🤣🤣

Show 23 and first time back in the GA since 2016! Plus a hometown show! Was excited for this, and boy did the show deliver.

So happy to hear Can’t Keep to open! Another highlight was Deep. My last track to clear Ten, and I lost it when the opening chords hit. So good! Plenty of hits, and the band crushed them! Not For You felt particularly great (Modern Girl tag!) and loved hearing In Hiding. Been awhile since I heard that one.

Fun to hear Ed talk about some past shows here in Atlanta, and he and the band seemed to recognize the enormous amount of energy/love coming from the audience.

Loved Jeff in the Hawks gear (plus merch with original Hawks colors)!

So nice that they took some time to recognize Matt with a champagne toast. A two timer!

Also, Ed seemed to acknowledge that when they were younger, maybe they felt HoF was maybe not all that, but they really enjoyed the moment to share with fans and fellow musicians. Really underscored the honor Matt had of going in twice. Very touching.

On the way out of the pit, I bumped into left stage guitarist for Dead Pioneers and told him what a great job they did. He had a big smile and some nice words in response. Very cool!

All in all, everyone in the band was on and very animated. Stone got some solos, and he looked very happy, moving to the center to play with Jeff more than once. Mike was Mike, so he was killing it! And Jeff! He looked like he was having a lot of fun, stomping across the stage from Stone’s side late in the show. Matt was all smiles during the toast!

Man, that encore was killer. Zevon cover (had yet to hear it), Inside Job (favorite PJ song off my favorite album 🥑), and then MYM into DTE into STBC? Wow. And Ed’s voice seemed to hold up!

What a show! On to Thursday and hopefully Setting Sun!
