I am turning 50 this weekend and had to treat myself to the one thing that life stops for a tour.
There was nothing close to my hometown in Wisconsin this time around, so lucky for me one of my touring friends has family in Atlanta for us to stay with. I’ll be missing my brother Mike that has been my +1 for almost all of our stops through the years.
It’s crazy to think that with my first show at Alpine in 92’, I have been able to share two-thirds of my life with this band. I’ve slept on city streets, met great people, brushed elbows with a few of the guys, and have a lifetime of memories from my own personal long strange trip.
I was hoping to get up close once again, but failed to land a GA ticket. Look for us in section 121, and hoping for a song that sums up the experience.
