Yeah, my wife LOVES the band and our real first date was their last show in Miami, 9 years ago. But there was no fucking way I was convincing her to take off of work and go hang in a casino ALL day so I didn’t miss a plastic PJ license plate.craigkrupski12 said:

Gamble for EIGHT hours until the band came on? (We did donate and RSVP to the pre party but couldn’t make that either 🤷🏼♂️)
For folks that don’t live in the Miami/ S.FL area, trying to get ANYWHERE down here from 4pm-7pm is typically a traffic nightmare during the week.So this was a nice anniversary show for us. We had a blast at Night 1 but we didn’t get there early enough to score any of the show merch, as so many people have said, theres gotta be a better way. Maybe it was just me but ALOT of the decks I DID see were in the hands of younger kids, so that’s actually fucking awesome.10c shut me out of Night 2 though. I don’t care what anyone else thinks these days, 10c seniority used to matter and I think it still should. I’ve been paying dues for just shy of 30 years now, there was a brief period of tours where I didn’t have to worry about tickets at all, seniority mattered and 10c sold me tickets for any show I requested.
Wife and I have the Sperry Miami ‘16 poster signed, doodled and framed, hanging in our bedroom. I don’t remember that one being nearly as difficult to get my hands on as this recent Ames…maybe it was? Chuck came to Art Basel Miami later that year and was nice enough to draw some hearts and a beach scene on our poster before we framed it. I think the FLL Klausen and the Miami Sperry posters from those first two nights of the 2016 tour are amazing compared to this Ames shark…weird this one is gettin so much hype. I do enjoy the tiny anti Musk/Trump details but they’re barely noticeable. Can’t believe the prices people are throwing at even the regular edition posters on eBay…course, I also can’t believe how much $$$ some folks musta thrown down to sit in some of those suits with couches just behind the pit…3K a ticket? More? And I do mean SIT, for the entire show…yay!Oceans to open is unbeatable for me…seen it many times down here in Florida and once in Honolulu, LOVE it every time!EDIT: (lol, just checked the setlist and Release, Of The Girl has gotta be my second favorite opener of all time…sheeeeet, you lucky Night 2ers! 🤘🏾)Present Tense, Leatherman, and Footsteps were all highlights for me. Setting Sun is a wonderful new closer! With all that’s going on in our country today I woulda enjoyed a slightly angrier Eddie, definitely woulda loved to hear a Grievance and a RITFW second encore woulda fit nicely.
Wonder if they are playing Grievance tonight!?!people seemed to dislike the Dead Pioneers. I loved them! Bands like them and the Codefedants are great examples of the future of punk rock!Oh, and CLEARLY the venue was way too hot! That place is less than five years old and should have an incredibly modern and powerful HVAC AC system. To have TWO people pass out and cause the show to stop TWICE at a modern indoor venue in unacceptable.Post edited by southerngarden onI shit and I stink, I'm real, join the club...0

Had some ups and downs mentalwise about it but there’s something with modern needs.. need to be blessed that i’m capable to travel overseas to see a show instead of feeling down i couldn’t see them twice.Loved Dead Pioneers, but was a bit bored of it after 30 minutes. Wondering about the setlist of tonight, should come in any minute..Post edited by Bart.niessen on0

2k for a pair is crazy. I literally spent less to travel and see them in Maui in 1998. Now I can’t afford 2 tickets an hour from my house. Plus I’m frustrated. Paid my FC dues for years and in the last 12 years I got tickets to one show (Tampa 16)Go Animal said:
The prices go down if no one buys PJ Premium. Demonstratably true on every level, every show.bootlegger10 said:To the know it alls back when public sale occurred, the ticket prices did not come down on Ticketmaster near of show for Saturday. The secondary market is still about 785 min day of show. There hasn’t been a plethora of ticket extras on the board. So I feel justified buying my PJ premium day of show to get four friends together.Could I have spent hours and hours refreshing or networking to save a few hundred bucks? Maybe, but don’t have time for that.
But if people would rather bite the bullet & shell out $600, $800, $1k a ticket, that's their choice. If they didn't, the regular fan (or lapsed) would be able to buy those Premiums at face value by about 4:30pm or 5pm today.
If you're good with dropping that kind of dough to see them, good for you. It's good to have that kind of passable income to do so in this day & age.
But I make my threads & posts for the blue collar fan. We can barely afford the current average of $190, but we save up & go to every show we can (or go into deep credit card debt😅)
I had house damage from last year that gobbled up all my time & funds. So any shows I go to on this tour are coming out of my tax return.
So, hope you enjoy the show tonight. I'm going to keep trying to help folks get tickets to see their favorite band without paying an arm & a leg.
(Great poster, btw)🤙Thanks!I just hope they visit Florida again soon. They've played Nashville, Central Cali (Fresno, Sacramento) regularly now since 2020. They went to Texas 2 years ago and played 4 arena shows. Florida gets 2 shows at the small Hard Rock.I never ended up getting tickets. I couldn't afford 2k for a pair of tickets. Hope everyone that was lucky enough to get in had a good time. Hopefully, they will come back soon. I'll try again.Being 1 (Tampa 16) for my last 6 (Ft L, Miami, Jax 16 and Hard Rock 25) for Ten Club ticket requests didn't help.0

Had an absolute fucking blast on night one! What a show! Unforch we bailed on daytime merch to surf more hours (worth it) so I was definitely disappointed to miss out on the poster and event shirt, but my heart was set on that leash and it was a success! I casually mentioned six songs to my husband that I wouldn't mind hearing for the first time - got two of them.
We had really cool seats in the m200s in the back row with our own little nook - shout out to the chick standing closer to her friend's seat, who ended up singing and dancing and screaming with me all night!
Hope that I inadvertently crossed paths with many of you. And I was kind of surprised after the mystery boxes that I only saw one person wearing a rats shirt 🤣I studied your face / I recognize your breath / Your light made us stars / Meet you on the other side 🌈0

Oh and I there were two empty seats right in front of us the whole night. I felt devastated for whoever had to miss out.I studied your face / I recognize your breath / Your light made us stars / Meet you on the other side 🌈0

To the portly little fellow who came up to me in section 303 a few songs in on Saturday night and said, "I hate to be that guy, but are you going to stand the whole time?" (while showing me a picture on his phone of me standing in front of 'his' view)...YOU ARE THAT GUY AND YOU'RE LAME!
If I feel like standing/dancing occasionally, I don't care who is behind me. Thursday night I was right in front of the wheelchair row...sorry...not sitting for them or kids either. I know we're all aging (I'm 52), but if I'm paying hundreds (almost thousands factoring in travel expenses), I'm not sitting on my ass for two hours at the greatest rock and roll concert a human can attend.
By the way, my answer to him was a polite..."Yes, I will be." He walked away.
I could have been a real ass later in the show when he was standing to his greatest hits songs and I was taking a break and sitting (I get up for songs like Not For You...not Even Flow) and asked him to sit down.
Anyone who ever asks that of someone at a concert either doesn't go to many good concerts, or has a screw loose. You're not in a damn movie theatre, you're at a concert!

I met a lot of great people waiting outside for night 2. Was it hot...yes. There was at least a breeze and some trees where we had some shade. Would I do it agan...no questions asked.
The Pearl Jam taco truck was there, somebody picked up some Dunkin and brought it to share, the casino at least gave us some bottles of water too (better than nothing, right?) We shared a ton of great stories about out different PJ tours, shows, venues, other bands, and just life.

He wasn't even right behind me. He was probably three rows back, and yes, he also threw that seat switch option out there. I declined. I'm not moving my wife and I back even further to make that turd happy. If he was right behind me in the last row up (so I'm not in front of anyone), sure I'd switch.Loujoe said:Yeah. Lauderdale by the sea! We weren't expecting to surf on this trip but we couldn't resist these adorable little waves that just kept rolling in non-stop right in front of our rental. The sargassum was not great but I'd rather deal with seaweed and warm water then the chilly Pacific.nicknyr15 said:

Indeed, i’m to soft to put that aside, would feel pressured the whole night. Was one of my fears when paying $1000 for N2 and being in the seats when not able to stand all night.WhereItTakesMee said:
