    NY is doing or trying, to put a ban on some forever chemicals that are used in plastics.

    That is a good thing.  Hold these corporations liable for putting them in there.

    Don't give up on the planet, friends.  
    If you feel under attack by the current goings on in America and the world in general, imagine how the planet feels right now?  A lot of pain there.  Only nature bats last, so it will eventually end well for the planet, and very possibly quite badly for humanity.  And what a shame that is!
