Wasn't that some AI-generated wishcasting or does that have legs?

do not remember which thread or how far back but I definitely remember someone posted with great info saying something along the lines that PJ has an open invite to Ohana annually and with Dark Matter performing well the full band wanted to keep playing shows in support of it

That was me. The full context, is that its Ed's festival, and the band is welcome whenever. But it's a democracy. And I don't think they want it to become a fan-expected thing that they play EVERY year.

Each guy has their own side projects, and just to keep their creative sparks alive, sometimes it'll just be Ed, a few big headliners, and a side project or two.

Painted Shield, Deaf Charlie, Rockfords, 3rd Secret, Flight to Mars, hell... Pluralone.

That being said, COULD they play again this year? Sure! Probably for a night. Will they? It's unclear.

    At best, call it "plausible".

Now to the latter point, at the time I wrote my post, the 2025 tour hadn't been announced. We are now 2 days out from FL N1. So, that part definitely came true.

The other part being, there was talk of a residency. But that has died down considerably. Later part of the year might still yield SOMETHING, or it'll just be these 11 shows.

If I find out, I'll definitely post about it. And if some of the regular rumor folks post something, it'll definitely be worth looking into...

Historic fires, their festival in SoCal, nothing on the books, I think they play it and use it to raise money.  Just makes sense.

How do the Sex Pistols go on tour without John Lydon? That is ridiculous.

My guess is PJ one night, and EV on another. There just seems to be too much "Dark Matter Tour continues" to just be promoting a couple of shows in spring/summer.

I would be surprised if we don't have the lineup this week.

Nah - PJ, Ed and Green Day would be too good to be true. I’m expecting Neil Young.
