like I Got ID (I Got Shit), Long Road were the product of the Mirrorball sessions with Neil Young. Instead of saving the songs for the next album, PJ just put those two out on the Merkinball single that was packaged along with Neil Youngs Mirrorball (where PJ was the back-up band). Hope that helps.
"I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike
"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone
"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV
Yeah they are more and more becoming hard to find too. I got mine with Mirrorball when they were released, but there are suttle differences in them now. Nothing overly huge but there was clearly a reprint of the packaging.
I have always prefered the version on the Deadman Walking Soundtrack.
I have a rubbish version of the studio song, I had hoped they would have been included on Lost Dogs instead of Sweet Lew or Moonlight.
Hopefully itll be played more next tour seemed absent alot in 2003
Somtimes i know, sometimes i rise,sometimes i fall,sometimes i dont,sometimes i cringe,somtimes i live sometimes i walk,sometimes i kneel,somtimes i speek of nothing at all,sometimes i reach to myself dear god
ya, i agree...sweet lew is just wrong. that is a total throw away, and last kiss is way too popular to be on lost dogs as well. i would have traded sweet lew for leatherman and last kiss for crazy mary(i still don't have the original track.)
...caught a bolt of lightning, cursed the day he let it go...
