I even saw them live in Portsmouth, UK in 2022!
I don’t know if you know their “origin story”, but they were already kind if known, but a stunt they pulled shot them to nationwide recognition. At MuchMusic (Canada’s MTV) headquarters in Toronto, there was a video booth set up outside where people could go in, record a message, a video request, anything they wanted, and some of them would end up getting shown on the network. Well, the BNL squeezed in, performed a rendition of Be My Yoko Ono, and it went (the 90’s version of) viral.
