I've seen them twice. Seattle N1 & N2 2024. I honestly just really got into the band with Dark Matter.
That's interesting. What was it that clicked? How familiar with them were you before?
I've always listened to more underground/punk kind of stuff. I had really only ever heard the singles from the first two albums. When the Dark Matter single dropped I saw it in my feed and gave it a shot. I found myself getting the riff stuck in my head. What really made things click for me was running. When I hear that song, I hear Bad Religion. I love Bad Religion. So when Easy Street announced they were doing an album listening party, my girlfriend (who was already a fan) and I decided to go check it out. Half way through the album I went up to the counter and preordered the record. I thought it was that good. So then when the shows were announced my girlfriend wanted to go, and I managed to get tickets. I decided that if I was gonna spend that much to go to a show, I had better familiarize myself with the songs. So whenever I would go to the gym I would listen to a new PJ album. I also found myself listening to a bunch of PJ radio on Sirius XM to familiarize myself further with the catalog and see what they liked to play live. Turns out I really really liked what I heard. I loved the 2 Seattle shows that I attended, and I ended up joining the Ten Club, which paid off, because now my girlfriend and I are headed to Nashville for both shows in May.
Also, Wreckage really resonated with me at the time. I loved how much it reminded me of Tom Petty
54 times since January 1995. I have 5 shows lined up for this leg to take me to 59. If I had all of the money back that I spent on tickets, I would use it to travel and see more Pearl Jam shows.
I’m at 53 with 54 due next month in Raleigh. My wife is somewhere in the low 20s. Son #1 is at 8 shows, daughter #2 has been to 2 shows, daughter #2 has been to 1 show and my 13 year old, son #2, has been to 3 shows. I feel like I fulfilled a huge dad obligation once I got all 4 kids to at least one Pearl Jam show.

But she doesn't care and it's cheaper for me that way.
First and second for the girlfriend, can’t wait. On of my best friends is going to hit 25 and my dad is hitting 35.
