It’s so much harder than it used to be having to constantly monitor a million different sources. Ah how I miss the good ole’ days of just sitting around refreshing F2F for hours on end lol.
In 2023 a couple of months before the tour kicked off our son crawled into bed with us at 3am, waking me in the process on my birthday no less, so of course I reached for my phone as he got settled in and comfortable. Naturally within 5 minutes I pulled a GA pair for St Paul.

I’d gladly be woken up several times this weekend for the same result to help others out.
💯 I have so many similar stories from 2023 and the first half of 2024. Scoring GA while waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, randomly checking my phone after spending 3 hours in the hot sun pulling weeds out of my garden, walking out of a bar late at night, etc. Every time I logged on, I got this exciting feeling that this could be the time I upgrade. F2F was good while it lasted, but ever since the bots took it over during the second half of last year, those days have been long gone.
Okay my “back in the good old days of f2f” story is I had a dream that someone dropped a GA pair for one of the Austin shows and when I woke up and checked TM (because that’s what I did as soon as I woke up 🤣) what do you know there was a GA pair sitting there.

I say “good old days” somewhat as a joke, in that it was seriously an obsession and a lot of work, but there was always a payoff. I guess that’s just my personality where if I want something that much I’ll just do whatever it takes even if my TM app screen time stat was embarrassingly high back then.

All the tickets getting tossed into the wind on Facebook really aggravates me. With a little coordination, so many people could be landing great seats to in-demand shows. That said, I’ve managed to snag four sets of tickets through posts over there—so I’m trying to balance my frustration with some appreciation.

I got to checkout but didn't bother trying since it looks like pretty extreme side stage
I would have taken them.  I don’t have a problem with side stage.
    Agree 100%
Those side stage seats are better than 90% of the rest of the venue, in my opinion. After GA, those side stage seats are my choice.
That's my preferred spot. I'm just sitting here waiting for a 113 drop for Nashville.

Same here. I'm a side stage connoisseur. I'm still holding out for Nashville 2. I get great photos from side stage and i love to see all the crew action band's faces

    Yep.
I haven't entered a 10club lottery in a decade. Maybe a Wrigley show years back. Maybe.

I would rather just go to ticketmaster, and get my side stage seats. It's never a hassle, I almost always get my seats, and it's stress free. If I have to go through stubhub, that's fine too. I get my side stage and pay a little extra. No biggie.

I have no tickets for any shows this leg. But I have looked at Atlanta the last week. $351 for side stage over on Mike's side? For me, that's not a bad deal at all. If the extra $150, over the cost of 10club tickets, was a deal breaker? Then I really shouldn't be going to a show anyway. For $351 I get to sit EXACTLY where I want to sit.

    Take me piece by piece.....

I hate the way Facebooks structure is organized in general,  There needs to be a place that’s about tickets and only about tickets.  And there needs to be a giant sticky post at the beginning that says “Don’t just throw your tickets out in the wild.  Please give a little bit of a notice or take the 5 extra min to link up with another fan looking for tickets.”  Or like here’s a real time list of people who are looking for tickets and what they are looking for.  Please message a person from this list before releasing tickets.

I wish I could adopt this mentality.  I’ve probably wasted way more than $150 worth of time trying to get tix. Even though I can afford it now, having grown up with no money I still get that buyers remorse when I pay more for something than I should have.

Those were the days. In 2023 I got a pair of GA for Austin1 within a minute or two of refreshing. Later that same day I got a pair of Fort Worth N2 GA also shortly after I started refreshing - 2 pairs of GA in one day from F2F with no links or advanced notice of a drop.

For a second it let me in where I could see the map, but nothing was listed. Two refreshes later and I was kicked back to the “no tix available” page.

No but the page went from sold out to an empty list right around the time he posted a link to his account, and then back to sold out a couple mins later. I’ve seen that happen when tickets are purchased instantly
