Waited about 2 hours at my shop. Oasis was gone, as expected.
Appeared to be an animal, yet so polite.0 -
Went to local shop hour after they had opened and got Bowie, Rage & Cypress but he never received Eddie at all. 2 hrs later my kid sends me photo of his shop 3 hrs north of me and he remembered what I wanted and sent me this photo. Can’t wait for Easter to come so I can see him and get my records0

Completely blown away. My local came through on all 4 that I wanted.
Cypress Hill, Dokken, Ed Vedder and Rage.
Fun fact: my first concert ever was in Dekalb, IL 1993 at the university basketball gym. I was there to see Cypress Hill and this band i never heard of was opening - Rage Against the Machine. My gawd! There was probably 50 people there and ticket price was $13.Soldier Field, Chicago, IL 7-11-1995; United Center, Chicago, IL 6-29-1998; MGM Grand, Las Vegas, NV 10-22-2000 ~PJ10~; Pepsi Center, Denver, CO 4-1-2003; Cricket Pavilion, Phoenix, AZ 6-7-2003; United Center, Chicago, IL 6-18-2003; Alpine Valley, East Troy, WI 6-21-2003; Fox Theatre, St. Louis, MO 10-5-2004; The Gorge, George, WA 9-1-2005; United Center, Chicago, IL 5-16-2006; United Center, Chicago, IL 5-17-2006; Pepsi Center, Denver, CO 7-2-2006; Pepsi Center, Denver, CO 7-3-2006; United Center, Chicago, IL 8-23-2009; United Center, Chicago, IL 8-24-2009; Rogers Arena, Vancouver, BC 12-4-2013; Key Arena, Seattle, WA 12-6-2013; iWireless Arena, Moline, IL 10-17-2014 ~No Code Show~; Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul, MN 10-19-2014; Bradley Center, Milwaukee, WI 10-20-2014 ~Yield Show~; Pepsi Center, Denver, CO 10-22-2014 ~PJ24~: Wrigley Field 1 & 2, 2016; Safeco Field, Seattle Home Shows 1 & 2; Wrigley Field, Chicago Away Shows 1 & 2....0 -
What I'll never understand:
Say there's 4,000 copies of a record. That comes out to 80 copies for each US state...not including copies sent to overseas stores.
There might be 12 record stores in LA alone. One of those stores might get 15 copies. I get that some stores don't order any, but is that list at the RSD website deliberately low to build hype?Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
Listened to the EV and was disappointed in the version of Room At The Top. The one he did at the Oscars was phenomenal and this electric version was simply “meh”.I picked up my T-shirts yesterday and the quality is hot-garbage. I was hoping to hold onto them as unique ones to wear out but will resell as the print will get ruined in the wash really fast.0

Out of the shirt and Eddie album at that one, but got some other good stuff. Ended up hitting three local record shops and doing pretty well!0
