Question for those of you on Ticketmaster - I always get a two step authentication. Every time I attempt to purchase tickets, I need to get a security code either via text or phone number.
Does anyone else have to do this? Anyone faced this previously and gotten this removed?
TIA!!or you can come to terms and realize

I think, but not sure, If you have the card saved in your TM account, depends on vendor. Have gotten 2 step with VISA bit not my AMEX. Anyone else know? I think there is an earlier thread about it. Good luck.IlliniGuy76 said:Question for those of you on Ticketmaster - I always get a two step authentication. That two step verification is the bane of my existence!
I tried AmEx, Visa, MasterCard, click pay, PayPal —- all double authenticated!!
PayPal was the quickest at least b/c I have facial recognition set up on my phone and the code gets copied right through the app so I can just insert w/o having to check the text or email. Still haven’t beat a bot or gotten any face value tickets on F2F but that’s my best option at this point.0 -
Thanks to you both on the above - I swear I thought it was something with my phone/credit card etc. Good to know that's not the case!or you can come to terms and realize

It’s a bit abnormal to me that premiums on FLA1 haven’t dropped. Usually 30 days advance of a date is when we would see premiums drop slightly…. we got 22 days. My Mastercard required two-step authentication, so I added it to PayPal, and now it bypasses the extra steps and charges the card directly.IlliniGuy76 said:Question for those of you on Ticketmaster - I always get a two step authentication. Have you tried registering your Visa and Mastercard through their click to pay service? You essentially registered your card into the visa database and when you online shop with the card the verification text is not needed.URthekey said:That two step verification is the bane of my existence!

I believe it only works with purchases made in the country where your billing address is registered in.
I bought Neil tixs for Toronto, TM Canada didn’t ask for the verification code after the payment screen.
When I buy US TM tixs it gives me the verification code because my billing address is 🇨🇦.
a quick search online using “click to pay visa” and “click to pay Mastercard” should bring you to the correct portals to register your cards.2005: Ottawa / 2011: Ottawa / 2016: Ottawa / 2022: Ottawa / 2022:Quebec City / 2024: Vancouver / 2024: Vancouver / 2024: New York City0 -

521, 504, 533 for me. Are these links I wonder? Same with the Pitt pair yesterday. There weren’t any new GA added to Vivid for Pitt so I wonder if someone could have actually got those.eddievedderspants said:damn, FLA2 GA - missed again.0 -

For payment Chase has never asked but Citi has on occasion (but not in a while). I don’t think it’s a frequent usage thing but maybeURthekey said:That two step verification is the bane of my existence!

That was the case in recent years. Seems a bit more daunting this year with how things are going. I'm still holding out hope week-of, things will open up.100 Pacer said:

I use a Chase Visa and do not get prompted for 2-factor. CVV is good enough and I can checkout pretty fast. Not as fast as the bots yet, though.1996 - Columbia MD
