Good idea but a bad precedent to set.  I don’t see it happening. Gives wealthy people chance to determine set lists.  Not really the band ethos
I imagine they’d be thrilled to get $5 a song or something.

    Actually, there is precedent!

The person who requested this song wrote a fat check to either Vitalogy Foundation or a specific NY charity:

Out of My Mind in 2009 cost someone a great deal. And I’m very grateful for that someone.

Also… I believe the killer setlist in Camden 2022 was done by a fan who made a hefty donation as well.

One song. And you guys with your posts prove my point.  Those two were big donations.  If that is the precedent we will be shut out like we are on all these auctions.  Just my $0.02. Ok if you all disagree

$100 per song played at any of the Pittsburgh or Atlanta shows. The subsequent songs are; Hard to Imagine,  No Way, All or None, Nothing as it Seems,  Comes then Goes,  Love Boat Captain,  Of the Girl, Wash and Present Tense. I hope this gets expensive.

The only way this gets problematic, if you can call it that, is if the band acknowledges it and starts auctioning off songs played for large charitable donations and those songs suck.  If PJ says donate to EB research and some rich dude says “K but you gotta play Brain of J to open” and the band does?  100% fine with it.  If the rich dude is a douche and says “Play Sirens,” then we have an issue.

now, meanwhile, if the band just sort of happens to do some of these songs at the requested shows and no one wink wink says shit and we all don’t fuck it up and just make our donations like promised (ahem @Eddie Vedder, if you’re reading this bud), then I think it’ll all be just fine with some sweet sets and some charity money flowing.

    So I say: LFG!!!!!

I’d give $500 for “You Are”…. Not the most popular choice, but damn I love this song.

Went from putting kids on shoulders 10-15 years ago, then to writing sob stories on here once the kids got too heavy, now auctioning off song requests once the nest egg has grown.
