    i found myself over christmas and my sons birthday buying star wars and regular Lego's.... it was for him really ahahaha i love lego.
    putting the stuff together... dad could i try???... me, one second son hahaha

    A new Lego Slave 1 is rumored to go on sale May 4th for $300

    As crazy as that price is, a new Death Star lego set is rumored to be released later this year at $1000!

    I stopped buying these for this reason, they would always make another version...

    I started building some Animal Crossing sets with my niece and was reminded how fun it is to build Lego ... don't know if I will get into the big sets but the $50-&$70 range is what I look for.  There is a pretty cool castle set I'm looking into getting, but not for display.  I'm not spending $1K on a Lego set, that is for sure, but may go for a Slave 1 if it is under $250.

    There is a pretty cool Lord of the Rings Rivendell set for $500 that I may have to ask Santa Jason P for ... =)

    I looked up my Slave 1 and they sell for 5-600 still on ebay.

    My son saved up his allowance to get that a few months ago.
    Legos are fun, but I just don't understand the price tag that goes with them.
