US Open began tonight. Fun to think the eventual champion is playing in the first round…even though I know there’s no chance of that.

5-1 win over Uruguay?!?  Missing a bunch of major guys too.  Impressive stuff from Pochettino

Did anyone try to get World Cup tickets?  I signed up for everything but guess I didn’t get selected, but also never got rejected. Trying to go to the Seattle game.

Which game? There are 6 scheduled for Seattle.
Keep in mimd that the ticket prices are dynamic so if you get an opportunity to purchase through FIFA check the rates via FIFA not secondary sources.

Good call, thanks for that.  The US game in Seattle specifically, would like to see the US in person and my brother has no interest going to LA (at the moment).

Currently the Seattle game has the least expensive of the 3 U.S. team games

Maybe, but it’s been thirty years since the last World Cup in the US, so whatever.

The greed of FIFA is really showing through.  Prices for parking are the same as some game tickets from the last World Cup.  As with most things these days, the regular people are being priced out.

Still can't believe Chicago is not involved in this world cup.  3rd biggest city in the middle of the country and we have no games.  Would have loved to have gone to any game.  They didn't even bid to be one of the host cities.  Apparently the corruption of FIFA and the city of Chicago could not coexist.
