What an amazing band out of Athens, GA!  They were from the same era as early B-52s, R.E.M., and Pylon. 
Their Themes From Venus is a "must have", and by itself, a reason that they could have hit it big time.  Apparently that wasn't in the cards, but that doesn't lessen the value of their excellent, marvelously creative songcraft. Produced by the amazing Mitch Easter.
The newer 2022 Propeller Records pressing is marvelous!

    We can't forget Guadalcanal Diary....they were a great Athens band as well!

    And Pylon, another interesting band with avid fans (Peter Buck was a major supporter), but I haven't warmed up to them as well.

    And Pylon, another interesting band with avid fans (Peter Buck was a major supporter), but I haven't warmed up to them as well.

    There is a movie about the early 80s Athens scene....I think it's called "Athens Inside Out"
