    Is anyone else madly head over heels in love with Egypt Station, like I am? I seriously can't get enough of it. That reminds me, I have to order the vinyl.

    I wish I could say I am.

    I think my friend got my hopes up to high. He text me one day asking if I heard it. Said it was great and the best thing Paul's done since Ram. So there you go, my expectations were through the roof to begin. It didn't stand a chance.

    Too bad... I didn't have any expectation really, although if I had they would have been met, lol. I really really love it. It just makes me feel happy and good! I think it's my favorite album that he's ever done... which is totally crazy, given that he's in his 70s.

    I personally like Ram and Wings Wildlife.

    I think he and Ringo should just go out on tour already. Maybe their holding out for their 80's ? =)

    Okay, I am NOT digging this auto tune song Paul just released, "Get Enough". I mean... as far as heavily auto tuned songs go, I guess this one is better than all the rest, but geez, that is NOT saying much, or anything nice. Oh well. I guess he just wanted to try something different, and I can't fault that.... I just hope he doesn't intend to put it on an actual album. This better just be a one-off single.

    Agreed! I’m not on any social media so it’s guaranteed by the time I hear about stuff like this, it’s already too late.

    When the black crows were big i got to see them at cbgbs. Waited on line was the last few to get in. Honestly they were playing to a stadium and blew my ears out. Got street credit to say I was there.
    Sure this gig will be classy!

    If I was local would definitely be stalking the place with my Beatles records and a fresh sharpie. If I remember there is only one way out of the building. The front door!

    I live a short walk from there - but by the time I heard about it, I was about to start a Zoom meeting with my boss, and tickets were likely all gone by then.

    Apparently, people were running up from all directions. The tickets were gone within 1/2 hour. I hadn’t even heard about it at that point.

    I saw that. I think tickets went on sale at 10:00am. I’m going to Jack White tonight. My friend tried to get tickets yesterday and said the line went on for blocks and blocks and blocks. She didn’t get one.
