every time I think I'm tired of this song I hear a version with a new/different Mike solo and I'm back on board again!!

    I HEAR THAT!

You know this is THE SONG that got me into PJ and it will always have a very, very special place in my heart. At times I'll think that I've heard it too much as well, or at shows sometimes have an automatic reaction of "eh, ofcourse, here we go...", but those thoughts soon fade and I am just ALWAYS reminded why I love it so much and why it made me the fan that I am today. It really is a treat live too. The song is reborn repeatidly thanks to Mikey. We have more and more to love. It's awesome.

    GO EVEN FLOW! :D

    You kick ass!

yea I agree. sometimes hearing it live. you are like "ehh" no big deal..

but 1 thing I've found is when you go back and listen to old bootlegs from 98, 2000 etc...you are able to really hear Mike's solo a lot better. you can feel it a lot better. he has a diff groove/flow everytime with the solo. I believe no 2 Evenflow solos are alike. though that is very hard to prove

every night Mikey jams out a different solo.

Indeed, this is the one that got me into PJ as well, I was 15, except, I like the original, studio version best.

But granted: best solo song, McReady knows what he's doing.

The video/radio/Alive B-side version is faaaaaaaaaaar superior to the Ten production of EF. Just hearing Eddie's "Whooooaaa" at the beginning makes me lose all bodily control.

Does anyone know if the concert where EF was shot is available for purchase/download????

I still remember vividly the first time I heard this in person at the Cleveland show. Right before the solo began, I turned to my friend and said "Get ready to be blown away!". Once it started, I was completely unprepared for how much it would kick my ass. That solo is, IMO, one of the top 5 of the whole tour. The energy through that performance is just unparalleled.
