It is sad that there are so many irresponsible people who should never own pets.. don’t even get me started. Luckily this shelter is no kill and the puppies usually get adopted quickly. It’s the overlooked, long stay older dogs who really tug on my heartstrings 😢

Yep I’m glad we rescued Flora from a shelter but it was sad seeing the other dogs there 😞

My son turned 14 on new years day, he can still walk but I got him a pet stroller just in case.

My baby is getting old. The arthritis is taking hold. She is also losing laxity in her ligaments, so it’s painful for me to watch her walk. Her heart and mind are still so strong though. She’s still woooo-ooooing for her drive and walk everyday. She walks as far as she wants and then, when she sits down in front of the stroller and won’t move, in she goes for the rest of the walk. She took to it right away.

Ahhh good job giving her as much comfort as possible at her age! She’s graceful in her sweater

shes very beautiful! its such a difficult thing to start seeing, you feel helpless but you are doing great by easing into a lil help,,,,im sure she appreciates the time you spend

How old id she? I’m sure she’s still enjoying her walks/rides. You are a great dog mom!

She’s so adorable!! I know how difficult it can be seeing our pets get older and not as physically strong. But it’s evident she’s well taken care of and very loved ❤️

Meet Buddy, Bubba’s new foster bro for a couple weeks. The no kill shelter I volunteer at asked for fosters for current residents to make room for intakes from the LA fires. He’s a 5 mo. old Rottweiler mix and a goofy, love bug. So calm and loving, slept soundly next to my bed all night.
