I personally wouldn’t want to see it, but I don’t worry about it b/c the threat of using our military is all that would be required if it went that far with Denmark. We always have to leave military intervention on the table for negotiation purposes.

Whoever said they were a threat? Whether you realize it or not, Greenland, with its strategic location, rare earth minerals, fisheries etc. is highly coveted real estate. China is currently trying to expand in Greenland and that is reason enough to want this to happen. We can’t have China on our back doorstep building naval bases and plundering and enriching themselves in the Artic with zero regard for the environment.
