An EMERGENCY GAS SHUT-OFF WRENCH costs only $5. and can be found at any hardware store.
In the event of a fire, shutting off your gas valve can help avoid an explosion.
Holy shit the house is on fire... WHERE THE FUCK DID WE PUT THE EMERGENCY GAS SHUT OFF WRENCH?

Most people hang them with a zip tie from the gas meter on the outside of their house.

I'm sure you know that if you turn a zip tie over, and and fasten it from the back side, it doesn't "lock"
but will still hold tight enough until you simply pull it apart. Zip ties are reusable this way for light duty jobs.

If you care about the safety of your neighbors, and the fire fighters arriving to save your home in the event of a fire,
you can help prevent a gas explosion by shutting off the gas valve on the outside of your house, if it is safe to do so.

you know, I cannot recall ever seeing a psa from a city fire dept suggesting what was presented above.
think I'll ask a fire chief I know. he's with a military dept but has spent a career spanning 41 yrs at this point (20 yrs active duty, 21 and counting as civilian) responsible for flight line, aircraft  and base buildings and housing.
we're kinda close. known him forever.

I can see it’s good advice if it’s just your house on fire but if the whole valley is on fire and you’re being evacuated I don’t think most folks would think of that! Most I tend think would be grabbing valuables kids pets etc etc! But I can see his point being good advise

seems anti-Semite mel is making the rounds. was watching cbc news this morning they showed a clip of him on fox talking to laura ingraham saying how "convenient" it was that there was no water, that the end goal is to have california empty. WTF

When I think back to some of Mel's best known roles over the years, it's the ones where he played closest to the public image he has become more open with sharing as the years have passed. It's like he became a combination of all the mentally unstable characters like Mad Max, Detective Riggs and the guy from Conspiracy Theory. Not to mention his vengeance roles.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    Yeah...he said that
& Rogan just accepted it as fact.

He loves asking the questions except when he doesn’t.

    Yeah...he said that
He mentioned like 4 other things they took too in all fairness. But I definitely understand your point.

Right, ivermectin and double mastectomies seem to solve breast cancer.

Also, Ivermectin and an ACL reconstruction totally solved my knee issue.

The other things he mentioned didn’t sound like traditional medicine / treatments. But what do I know, which is why I don’t go on podcasts and give medical advice.

I’m allergic to apples so I took Ivermectin and my allergies went away. I stopped eating apples but it’s the Ivermectin that solved the issue /s

Since it's Mel Gibson, I'm sure prayer and self-flogging were the two other solutions.  The guy is practically Opus Dei.  He totally rejects Vatican II.

Must be having a conniption fit with the moves Francis is making. Gays can now serve as Priests. Finally, doing something to protect young boys.....
