I hit on the footlocker app so I was able to just pick them up yesterday. When I first saw the pics I thought the same. But the shiny finish contrasts nicely with the soft nubuck and adds some layers to what’s essentially an all black sneaker. I typically don’t like all black sneakers but these were always one of the few I loved. Happy to have them back in the collection.

Over 400 . Just in boxes. There’s not much you can do about pairs yellowing over time. Only advice is to wear them! Don’t store them away forever. It’s a waste. Holding pairs to trade or sell a year or two out is one thing. But pairs just go to waste if you don’t rock them
