I know life isn't fair

While I am intellectually aware of this fact,  I don't usually dwell on it.

However, today I feel like there's a big ugly speaker loudly broadcasting an announcement at me. It's repeating: "Remember, life isn't fair. Don't expect it to be. Just go back to work."

I HATE this message. I really do.

    I don't mind work. I like my work generally.

    I was just upset the day I wrote this because I was very disappointed about not getting the opportunity to buy Tenclub tickets through the lottery.  I was frustrated because ever since they have started using this lottery system I have not "won" the opportunity to buy tickets.

    Sorry for seeming spoiled.
