was just listening to the version ed and jeff did with rahat nusrat fateh ali khan in LA back in '98 - and wow....how beautiful *is* this!?! just the blending of ali kahn's voice with ed, so exquisite. just lulls and zones me out. it must have been an incredible experience to have witnessed it in person. thank goodness for MP3s! haha
and i love the collaboration ed had with nusrat fateh ali khan on the dead man soundtrack, especialy their rendition of 'long road'. gives me shivers every time i hear it

Does anybody know who plays guitar on the studio versions of Ed's & Nusrat's Long Road and Face Of Love? I saw the video Not in Our Name: Dead Man Walking -- The Concert, which was held March 29, 1998, at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. There's Jeff and Mike, Ed and Rahat (Nusrat's nephew). But who was the real musician in the studio? I don't think Ed can play guitar like that;)2000 Ljubljana
